Tracing Paper Layering

Method

1. I first traced the furthest part of the original image I was working from on to tracing paper with black acrylic paint.
2. On another piece of tracing paper, I traced the building in the foreground and added brown and white on to the road and buildings to define these areas.
3. On a third piece of tracing paper, using grey acrylic which was the road and was placed between the first two sheets.

Brooks Salzwedel
This piece was based on the artist Brooks Salzwedel who is a mixed media artist who creates juxtaposed images of man-made constructs and nature.
